Committee of Electronic Information of the Ichthyological Society of Japan
History of the establishment of the committee

The inter-net began to play an important role in an exchange of information as the network of electronic information was well advanced in the late 1990s.
In January 1997, the society added one person as the inter-net personnel to the office of general affairs and opened the home page to introduce events and activities of the Ichthyological Society of Japan.
In October 2003, the society established the committee of electronic information to deal with a large volume of information including the home page. Therefore, the committee took over the business of the inter-net personnel in the office of general affairs and strengthens its role and activity.

  1. Management of the home page of the society
  2. Management of online registration for the annual meeting
  3. Management of mailing list
  4. Organization and disclosure of electronic information that has been sent to the society
