Naha Airport, the main gateway to Okinawa is connected to the major cities in mainland of Japan (Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka) with direct flights.

Okinawa is close to China, Southeast Asia and Oceania. Direct flights from Asian cities are: two flights per day from Taipei (everyday), and one flight from Hong Kong, and Shanghai (everyday), and Beijing and Seoul (not everyday).
